What is facial filler?

Also known as dermal filler, filler is an injectable treatment used to add volume, smooth wrinkles, and enhance facial contours. It’s typically made from substances like hyaluronic acid and is injected beneath the skin to restore a youthful appearance and add volume.

Fillers can treat areas like the lips, cheeks, temples and reduce lines around the mouth or nose. The changes are typically noticeable right away and can last several months to over a year, depending on the treatment area and type of filler used.
