Upper Blepharoplasty

An upper blepharoplasty, also known as upper eyelid surgery, improves the hooding of the upper eyelid by removing skin and fat from the eyelid. The scar is hidden in the natural crease of the upper eyelid.
Book Consult
upper blepharoplasty candidate

Am I candidate for an upper bleph?

Excess skin and fat in the upper eyelid can be caused by aging, but genetics also play a role, which is why people of all ages can be good candidates for an upper bleph.

If you’re concerned by hooded or heavy eyelids, regardless of age, you may be a candidate.
Upper Blepharoplasty Addresses:
Hooded eyelids
Tired-looking eyes
Loss of lid space
Heavy lids

Upper Blepharoplasty Recovery and Results Timeline

Keep in mind that everyone’s surgery and recovery are unique. Your surgeon will give you individualized instructions and timelines during your consultation.

2 Weeks
The majority of swelling and bruising has resolved. Most patients feel "restaurant ready" and are comfortable returning back to normal activity.
4 Weeks
Of course, everyone’s recovery is a little different. But most patients see their final results around 4 weeks post-op.

Lower Blepharoplasty

A lower blepharoplasty, also known as lower eyelid surgery, improves the fullness of the lower eyelid bags, and crepiness of lower eyelid skin. Fat grafting can also be added to the tear trough.

Am I candidate for an rhinoplasty?

Rhinoplasty is an incredible tool for changing the shape and contour of the nose bridge, tip, and overall appearance of the nose.

A brow lift repositions a heavy brow to its natural or optimal position. Through two small incisions in the hairline, your surgeon directly lifts the brow without changing the hairline or forehead.
Book Consult

Am I candidate for a brow lift?

Heavy or low brows are caused by aging, and in some cases, simply genetics.

If you’re concerned by drooping eye brows or tired-looking eyes, you may be a candidate for a brow lift.

Heavy, drooping brows
Brow tail that falls below or on the bony portion of the eye socket

Facelift

Addresses signs of aging including jowling, deep nasolabial folds, and volume loss in cheeks, and lips.

At Amelia, a facelift includes a neck lift and fat grafting. A face and neck lift tightens underlying muscles, removes excess skin, and replaces lost volume with fat grafting.
Book Consult
Facelift candidate

Am I candidate for an facelift?

Sagging in the jowls and neck can be a result of aging or weight loss. The goal of a facelift isn’t to make you look 25 again. It’s to keep you looking refreshed in your 40s for decades to come.

If you’re looking to restore youthful fullness and structure to your face and neck, you may be a candidate for a facelift.
A Facelift Addresses:
Deep nasolabial folds
Sagging skin in jowls and neck
Deflated or sunken cheeks

A neck lift improves neck and jawline contour by removing excess skin and fat and tightening the neck muscles.

Am I candidate for a neck lift?

Loose skin, excess fat, and muscle separation in the neck can be caused by aging and weight loss.

If you’re concerned by excess fat and sagging skin in the neck, also known as “turkey neck,” you could be a good candidate for a neck lift.
A Neck Lift Addresses:
Skin laxity in the jowls and neck (sometimes referred to as “turkey neck”)

A lip lift removes excess skin and tissue under the nose to decrease the space between the nose and the upper lip.
Book Consult
Lip Lift candidate

Am I candidate for an lip lift?

As we age, and in some cases since birth, the space above our upper lip is elongated causing what’s known as “long lip."

If you’re hoping to shorten the amount of space between your upper lip and the base of your nose, you may be a candidate for a lip lift.
A Lip Lift Addresses:
“Long lip”
Elongated philtrum or ergotrid

Fat Grafting

Fat grafting helps restore lost volume due to aging by taking a small amount of fat from another area of the body (typically the inner thigh or stomach) and injecting it into a specific area.

It’s often combined with other face procedures, such as a face lift, to comprehensively restore the face.
Book Consult
Fat Grafting candidate

Why fat grafting?

The fat grafting recovery time will fall within the recovery time of whatever procedure with which it’s combined.

You can expect mild bruising, swelling, and tenderness around the donor area and possible water submersion restrictions.
By filling in the valleys in the face created by volume loss, we address the visual cues we associate with aging such as:
Downturned mouth corners
Blunted chin
Jowling behind chin and along jaw
Loss of jaw definition
Flattened/absent cheek volume
Loss of cheekbone contour
Prominent orbital ridge
Sunken temples
Hollow tear trough
Blunted lid/cheek junction
Deep nasolabial folds
Flattened lips with elongated ergotrid
