What began as one surgeon’s vision is now a growing group of expert plastic surgeons and care teams across five states. At Amelia Aesthetics, advanced medical care meets a thoughtful, patient-first experience designed around your goals and long-term confidence.
Almost 20 years ago, board-certified plastic surgeon Dr. Jeremy Pyle had a vision for a better plastic surgery and medspa experience—one that was easier, one centered around the patient. But if you’ve met Dr. Pyle, a vision doesn’t just stay a vision for long.
He and his team (then known as Davis and Pyle Plastic Surgery) started asking questions and working closely with patients to learn what was too hard, what felt confusing, and what simply wasn’t working. That generous, honest feedback helped us reimagine what the patient experience could be—and what it should be.
Tools like online booking, philosophies like transparent pricing, and intentional, welcoming spaces like the play areas in our waiting rooms are the byproducts of an ongoing collaboration between our patients, surgeons, and care teams. It’s a model that blends advanced medical care with thoughtful, human-centered design because we believe you deserve both.
As Dr. Pyle’s vision of a truly patient-centric practice became a reality, it was clear there was one major thing that didn’t represent the patient at all—the name Davis and Pyle Plastic Surgery.
On March 8, 2020, Davis and Pyle officially became Amelia Aesthetics. Amelia, named for aviator Amelia Earhart, is a stand-in for the brave, bold, powerful women we serve, and for the courage it takes to choose what’s right for yourself.
So, how did we choose the name Amelia Aesthetics? Truth be told, we didn’t. Our patients did. Just as we had from the beginning, we asked for their thoughts, and Amelia was the runaway favorite. The name and how it was chosen reflect our commitment to building an experience centered around you, shaped by the voices of the people we care for every day.
Since then, Amelia has made a home in new states, expanded our services, and grown beyond a small team in Raleigh, North Carolina. That’s a lot of positive change, all guided by the same focus on quality, safety, and trust that shaped our earliest days.
Today, Amelia Aesthetics includes seven plastic surgery practices and twelve experienced, board-eligible, and board-certified plastic surgeons across North Carolina, Missouri, Indiana, Texas, and Florida. Our surgeons are trained in the full spectrum of cosmetic procedures and operate in accredited surgical facilities, with hospital privileges and a shared commitment to patient safety and long-term results.
Patients come to Amelia for a wide range of surgical care, including breast augmentation and breast reduction, mommy makeover, body contouring after weight loss, facial rejuvenation, and complex revision procedures. Many of our surgeons also lecture, publish, and participate in national professional organizations such as the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, helping advance the field while bringing the latest evidence-based techniques back to our patients.
In recent years, Amelia has expanded to include five medspa locations in Raleigh, NC; St. Charles, MO; Boynton Beach, FL; Evansville, IN; and Wilmington, NC. Our licensed providers offer aesthetic injectables and advanced skin treatments, working closely with our surgical teams to ensure that every recommendation—surgical or nonsurgical—is guided by medical expertise and individualized care.
Amelia Health, our newest addition in Raleigh, NC, is a comprehensive wellness and longevity practice focused on helping patients feel strong, energized, and supported through every stage of life. Our providers create lab-informed, personalized treatment plans for hormone balancing, weight management, longevity therapies, and aesthetic care, with the goal of supporting not just how you look, but how you live.
Across every Amelia location and specialty, our philosophy remains the same: honest recommendations, personalized treatment plans, and care that prioritizes your health, goals, and long-term confidence. Sometimes that means surgery. Sometimes it means nonsurgical treatment. And sometimes it means taking the time to say, “not yet.” We believe the best care starts with listening.
Our ongoing partnership with the people we serve continues to shape who we are and how we grow. It’s an essential part of what makes the Amelia experience so special. And as our story continues, we can’t wait to meet, serve, and learn from more remarkable women just like you.
